Creating Landing Pages
FUNNELS & WEBSITES Creating Landing Pages Introduction to Landing Pages A landing page is a single web page designed with a specific goal in mind—typically to capture leads, sell a product, or promote a specific offer.
Unlike other website pages, landing pages have a single focus (called a call-to-action or CTA) that guides visitors toward taking the action you want them to take.
Step-by-Step Page Creation Step 1: Log into Lead Fuel CRM and navigate to Funnels > Create New Funnel Step 2: Select "Landing Page" as your funnel type Step 3: Choose between a blank page or select a pre-built template Step 4: Enter your page title and URL slug (this will be your page web address) Step 5: Click "Build Page" to open the drag-and-drop editor Step 6: Start adding elements to your page (see using the Drag-and-Drop Editor section below) Step 7: Save your page frequently as you build Step 8: Click "Preview" to see how your page looks to visitors Using the Drag-and-Drop Editor • Element Library: Located on the left side, contains all available page elements like text, images, buttons, forms, and videos.
• Canvas Area: The center workspace where you build your page by dragging elements.
• Properties Panel: On the right, allows you to customize the selected element's appearance and settings.
• Undo/Redo: Use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y) or the undo buttons to revert changes.
Best Practices for Landing Page Design • Keep your page focused on a single, clear offer • Place your call-to-action button above the fold (visible without scrolling) • Use high-quality, relevant images that support your message • Write compelling headlines that grab attention immediately • Use short, benefit-focused copy that speaks to visitor needs • Include social proof like testimonials or trust badges • Test different versions to see which converts best • Ensure mobile responsiveness for users on any device Tip: Your headline is the first impression visitors have.
Spend time crafting a headline that clearly states the benefit of your offer and why they should care.
