Importing & Exporting Contacts

Lead Fuel CRM makes it easy to bring contacts in from other systems and export your data when needed. This article covers both importing new contacts and exporting existing ones.

Importing Contacts

You can import contacts from a CSV file. Refer to the Getting Started guide on Importing Contacts for detailed step-by-step instructions on preparing and uploading your file.

Exporting Contacts

Exports include only the contacts currently visible based on your active filters. To export all contacts, make sure no filters are applied.

Export Use Cases

• Creating a backup of your contact database.
• Preparing a mailing list for an external email service.
• Sharing contact data with a team member or partner.
• Analyzing contact data in a spreadsheet application.
• Migrating contacts to another platform.

Important: Exported contact data contains personal information. Handle exported files securely and in compliance with your data protection obligations.
