SETTINGS & ADMINISTRATION User Permissions Overview User Permissions control what actions individual team members can perform within Lead Fuel CRM.
You can use predefined roles or create custom permission sets to match your organization's exact needs.
Permission management ensures data security while empowering your team with appropriate access levels.
Predefined Roles Lead Fuel CRM includes four standard roles with pre-configured permissions: Creating Custom Roles Build custom roles tailored to specific team functions: Step 1: Navigate to Settings > User Permissions > Custom Roles Step 2: Click "Create New Role" button Step 3: Enter a descriptive role name (e.g., "Sales Development Representative") Step 4: Select permissions from the available categories shown below Step 5: Review the permissions summary and click "Save Role" Permission Categories Contact Management • Create new contacts • Edit contact information • Delete contacts • View all contacts or assigned only • Import and export contacts Pipeline & Deals • Create and edit deals • Move deals between pipeline stages • Close won/lost deals • View all pipelines or assigned only • Modify pipeline configuration Automation & Workflows • Create and edit automations • Activate/deactivate automations • View automation performance • Manage workflow templates Administration • Manage team members • View account billing • Access audit logs • Configure integrations • Manage API keys Assigning Roles to Team Members Step 1: Go to Settings > Team Members Step 2: Click on the team member you want to modify Step 3: In the "Role" dropdown, select the appropriate role Step 4: For custom roles, the selected role's permissions are immediately applied Step 5: Click "Save" to confirm the change Tip: You can preview all permissions for any role before assigning it by clicking the information icon next to the role name.
Important: Be cautious when assigning Administrator roles.
Only users who need full system access should have this permission.
Limit custom roles to necessary permissions only.
