    Proposals and Estimates

Lead Fuel CRM lets you create detailed proposals and estimates with itemized pricing, multiple package options, and approval workflows. Impress clients with professional proposals that they can review and accept online.

    Creating a Proposal

Step 1:Navigate to Documents and click "Create Proposal."
Step 2:Select a proposal template or start from scratch.
Step 3:Add the client's information (auto-populated from their contact record using merge fields).
Step 4:Write the proposal introduction describing the project, scope, and objectives.

    Adding Line Items and Pricing

Step 1:Add a pricing table to your proposal.
Step 2:Enter line items with descriptions, quantities, and unit prices.
Step 3:The total is calculated automatically as you add items.
Step 4:Optionally add discounts as a percentage or fixed amount.
    Step 5:Include tax if applicable.
Step 6:Add optional items that the client can choose to include or exclude.

    Package Options

Present multiple pricing tiers for clients to choose from:

    • Create two or three package options (e.g., Basic, Standard, Premium).
    • Each package lists the included services or products with its total price.
    • The client can select their preferred package when reviewing the proposal.
    • Highlight your recommended package to guide the client's decision.

    Approval Workflows

Configure what happens when a client accepts your proposal:

    • Signature: Require the client to sign the proposal to confirm acceptance.
    • Payment: Collect a deposit or full payment upon acceptance.
    • Notification: Notify your team immediately when a proposal is accepted.
    • Automation: Trigger a workflow that creates an opportunity, sends a welcome email, or starts an onboarding sequence.

Tip: Include a clear call-to-action at the end of your proposals with explicit next steps. Clients should know exactly what happens after they accept, including timeline, onboarding process, and first deliverables.
