Round Robin Scheduling

CALENDARS & APPOINTMENTS Round Robin Scheduling Distributing Appointments Evenly with Round Robin Scheduling Round robin scheduling automatically assigns new bookings to the next available team member in rotation.

This ensures fair workload distribution and prevents some team members from being overbooked while others are idle.

How Round Robin Scheduling Works Instead of customers selecting a specific provider, round robin automatically assigns them to the next person in the rotation.

This is like a queue system—each booking goes to the next eligible team member.

• Booking 1 → Assigned to Provider A • Booking 2 → Assigned to Provider B • Booking 3 → Assigned to Provider C • Booking 4 → Assigned back to Provider A (rotation continues) • The system skips providers who are unavailable or fully booked Setting Up Round Robin for a Service Step 1: Navigate to Calendars > Services and select the service Step 2: Click the "Assignment" tab Step 3: Select "Round Robin" as the assignment method Step 4: Click "Add Providers" and check the team members who can provide this service Step 5: Set the order in which providers should receive bookings Step 6: Configure priority: "Fairness" (equal distribution) or "Availability" (available first) Step 7: Optionally set weights (e.g., give experienced staff more bookings) Step 8: Save the round robin configuration Tip: Use fairness-based priority to ensure all team members get equal work.

Use availability-based if you have team members with different availability patterns.

Customizing Round Robin Rules Fine-tune how the round robin system assigns bookings based on your team's specific needs.

Provider Weighting Assign weights to control how many bookings each person receives relative to others.
