Opportunity Custom Fields
OPPORTUNITIES & PIPELINES Opportunity Custom Fields Custom fields let you track additional data on your opportunities beyond the default fields.
This is useful for capturing deal-specific information like project type, referral source, contract length, or any other data point relevant to your sales process.
ADDING CUSTOM FIELDS TO OPPORTUNITIES Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Custom Fields.
Step 2: Select the "Opportunity" object type.
Step 3: Click "Add Field" to create a new custom field.
Step 4: Choose the field type (text, number, dropdown, date, checkbox, etc.).
Step 5: Enter a field name and configure any additional settings like default values or required status.
Step 6: Click "Save" to add the field to all opportunities.
