    Blog SEO Settings

Search engine optimization (SEO) is essential for making your blog content discoverable. Lead Fuel CRM includes built-in SEO tools for every blog post and your blog as a whole, helping you rank higher in search results and drive organic traffic.

    Post-level Seo Settings

Each blog post has its own SEO configuration:

    • Meta Title: The title that appears in search engine results. Keep it under 60 characters and include your target keyword.
    • Meta Description: The summary shown below the title in search results. Write a compelling description under 160 characters that encourages clicks.
    • URL Slug: The last part of the post's URL (e.g., /blog/your-post-slug). Use short, descriptive slugs with hyphens between words.
    • Canonical URL: Set a canonical URL if the content exists elsewhere to avoid duplicate content issues.
    • No-Index: Optionally tell search engines not to index a specific post.

    Open Graph Tags

Open Graph tags control how your blog posts appear when shared on social media platforms:

    • OG Title: The title displayed in social media link previews (defaults to meta title if not set).
    • OG Description: The description shown in social media previews (defaults to meta description).
    • OG Image: The image displayed when the post is shared on social media. Use a high-quality image at least 1200x630 pixels.

    Sitemap Generation

Lead Fuel CRM automatically generates a sitemap for your blog:

    • The sitemap includes all published blog posts and is updated automatically when you publish or unpublish content.
    • Submit your sitemap URL to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to help search engines discover your content faster.
    • The sitemap URL is typically located at yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml.

    Best Practices for Blog Seo

    • Include your target keyword in the post title, URL slug, first paragraph, and at least one heading.
    • Use descriptive alt text on all images that includes relevant keywords naturally.
    • Link to other relevant blog posts on your site (internal linking) to help search engines understand your content structure.
    • Write content that is at least 800 words long for better ranking potential.
    • Update older posts with fresh information to maintain their search rankings.

Tip: Focus on writing for your audience first and search engines second. Content that genuinely helps your readers will naturally perform well in search results over time.
