What Are Webhooks?

Webhooks are the bridge between Lead Fuel CRM and external applications. A webhook is a unique URL that third-party services can send data to, triggering automations or receiving contact information. This enables seamless integrations with hundreds of applications without coding.

Creating a Webhook Trigger

In addition to triggering automations with webhooks, you can also send contact data to external systems. Use the "Send Webhook" action to POST contact information to another application's API endpoint. This is useful for syncing data with specialized tools, payment processors, or custom software.

Zapier Integration

Zapier is a popular automation platform that connects thousands of applications. Lead Fuel CRM integrates with Zapier, allowing you to create "Zaps" that trigger from Lead Fuel events or send Lead Fuel actions. For example, create a Zap that watches for new CRM contacts and adds them to your email marketing platform automatically.

Common Integration Scenarios

• Email Marketing: Sync contacts and automation events to Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or ActiveCampaign for deeper email campaigns
• Payment Processing: Send invoice data to Stripe or PayPal and trigger follow-ups based on payment status
