Improving Email Deliverability
EMAIL SYSTEM Improving Email Deliverability Understanding Email Deliverability Email deliverability is the ability to successfully deliver emails to your subscribers' inboxes.
Even with proper setup, emails can be filtered as spam or bounced.
This guide covers the key factors that affect deliverability and actionable steps to improve your inbox placement.
Authentication Records: The Foundation Proper authentication is the first and most important factor for deliverability.
Email providers (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) use authentication records to verify you are who you claim to be.
• SPF Record: Should be correctly configured and include all your email providers.
Publish a strict SPF policy with a -all enforcement (not ~all) • DKIM Signature: Should be properly signed by Lead Fuel CRM and verified by recipients' mail servers • DMARC Policy: Set to "reject" for maximum protection and deliverability.
This tells ISPs to reject any emails that fail authentication Step 1: Log in to Lead Fuel CRM and verify SPF, DKIM, and DMARC status in Settings > Email > Authentication Step 2: Check for any red alert icons indicating misconfiguration Step 3: Use a DMARC monitoring service to check your DMARC reports Step 4: Ensure your DMARC policy is set to "reject" (p=reject) for maximum effect IP Reputation and Warm-up If you're using a dedicated IP address for sending, you need to establish a good reputation with mail servers.
