How to Compose and Send an Email Step 1: Open a customer's contact record and go to the Conversations tab Step 2: Click on the message compose field at the bottom Step 3: Select "Email" from the channel dropdown menu Step 4: The email composer opens with fields for To, CC, BCC, and Subject Step 5: Enter the recipient email address (auto-populated if replying to an email) Step 6: Add a subject line that clearly describes the email content Step 7: Type your email message in the body area Step 8: Click "Send" to deliver the email Email Composition Features • Rich Text Editor: Format your email with bold, italic, underline, and text colors • HTML Formatting: Switch to HTML view for advanced formatting and custom layouts • Hyperlinks: Insert clickable links to websites, landing pages, or resources • Lists: Create bulleted and numbered lists for better readability • Spell Check: Built-in spell checker catches typos before sending • Character Count: Monitor email length to keep messages concise Attachments You can attach files to emails directly from the CRM.

Step 1: In the email composer, click the "Attachment" or paperclip icon Step 2: Select the file from your computer or file library Step 3: The file appears in the attachments section Step 4: You can add multiple attachments to a single email Step 5: Click "Send" - attachments are included with the email Important: Large attachments (over 25MB) may not be delivered by some email providers.
Compress large files or use file sharing links instead.
